What this course does is teach new writers how to bring these ideas to life on the page and promotes the enjoyment that writing for film and TV brings.

You can learn the recipe for a good script but you can’t be taught the ingredients. It's the individual writer who creates what's on the menu. This course offers the unique and exciting opportunity to help those new to screenwriting create an inspiring and professional screenplay that they can come away feeling proud of.

The Course

The course is a very active and positive one. It encourages thought and discussion in a calm and engaging workshop environment and turns great ideas into great scripts. Although most writers work individually, they are all able to benefit from feedback and brain storming ideas in development meetings. These meetings take the form of workshops, which is an encouraging and positive place to be. The course builds a team and that team will encourage and support participants throughout all stages of their individual writing. Although the scripts will always remain a very personal thing, bouncing ideas around the intimate group will enhance the allied community and lead to the best ideas.
